Langtree has let the first unit at Orbital Industry Park in south Leeds since its multi-million pound refurbishment.
Insta-Hire Limited, which provides plant and tool hire to the construction sector has taken a 7,206 sq ft unit on a five-year lease. A further unit at the popular Hudswell Road site is under offer, with a third subject to final negotiations. Neighbours on site include Lonestar, Birch Distribution and Brewers Decorator Centre.
Craig Hetherington, managing director, Insta-Hire said: “It’s a cracking location, right in the middle of our distribution area and perfect for motorway access. There’s plenty of room for our large plant, too.”
Insta-Hire’s unit is one of 10 on the industry park that range in sizes from 7,200 to 29,700 sq ft. The site enjoys a prominent position within the well-established Jack Lane industrial area near junction 4 of the M621, and the recently refurbished units benefit from new floor slabs, roof lights, kitchenettes, WC facilities, electrical installations and full redecoration, both internally and externally.
Commenting on the letting, Kathryn Smart, group senior property manager at Langtree, which manages the site, said: “Insta-Hire are an ambitious business and needed a home that projected the right image. We’re delighted the refurbished Orbital Industry Park met their requirements.”
