Sixt, the global car hire specialist, has taken a 10-year lease on a 9,000 sq ft unit at Orbital Industry Park in South Leeds.
The letting means the popular business park is now 72% let with just three units remaining, of which two are under offer.
“There’s a real shortage of good quality units like this in the Leeds market and we’re seeing the benefits of that supply imbalance,” said Kathryn Smart, group senior property manager at Langtree, who manage the site.
“Orbital Industry Park offers the standard of design, management and layout that quality occupiers are seeking and we’re confident the remaining three units will be signed up shortly,” added Kathryn.
Commenting on the deal, Jamie Lea of Sixt said: “Our customers demand convenient locations to go with their vehicles and Orbital helps us keep our promise in that regard. We’re delighted to be in and customers have responded enthusiastically to our new home.”
Three units totalling 24,945 sq ft currently remain, with the 9,000 sq ft unit 9 being the only one currently not under offer or negotiation.
