An international leading–edge company, G3G, has chosen Sci-Tech Daresbury as its Northern UK base.
G3G, the award-winning SAP partner with a focus on high growth organisations is to take 4,300 sq ft in Techspace Two, meaning the building is now fully let.
Headquartered in Richmond, Surrey, G3G started in 1999 by providing SAP consultancy services across Europe, growing quickly into an international brand now part of the GroupElephant.com group that employs more than 2,000 people across 22 countries.
G3G provides SAP Enterprise Management (Finance, Supply Chain and Analytics) services with an emphasis on new-generation Cloud-based HANA technology, digital transformation, application management, infrastructure technical services and hosting. Its two core offers are SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management and SAP Business One. G3G is one of the few companies offering S4 Cloud solutions providing rapidly growing companies with an accelerated pathway to S4 and Cloud adoption.
Currently the group employs more than 150 staff across the UK and plans build the Sci-Tech Daresbury site into a 50 employee SAP Support Centre of Excellence in the North.

In 2016, G3G became part of groupelephant.com, a largely employee-owned group of technology companies, non-profit organisations and impact investment businesses with a strong global presence. With operations across 22 countries, the Group has earned a strong reputation for successfully and cost-effectively addressing challenging technology-related issues for large, complex organisations. Its client portfolio includes some of the largest and most respected multinational corporations.
Rather than implementing a traditional corporate social responsibility programme and simply donating funds to charities, the Group is defined by a primary strategic imperative in which it goes ‘Beyond Corporate Purpose’ in its day-to-day activities. Focus areas include the preservation of at-risk elephants and rhinos, and the economic uplift of rural people in areas adjacent to the threatened species.
One percent of G3G’s revenue goes towards saving elephants and rhinos and in 2018 the company will also be supporting a bicycle initiative which will help rural African children attend school and gain the skills needed to support their families and communities in the future.
Sci-Tech Daresbury is a private-public joint-venture partnership between developer Langtree, the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and Halton Borough Council.

Techspace Two, itself, is a two-storey, self-contained building comprising 10,000 sq ft of modern, flexible office space next to its larger sister building, Techspace One. Together the two buildings are part of a £20m investment into the Enterprise Zone, including development of new public realm and campus infrastructure. Additionally, in February, a planning application for a c£12m speculative development of a 42,000 sq ft grade A office complex, named Project Violet, was approved with a start on site planned later in 2018.
