Langtree says its long-term strategy of revitalising tired industrial estates continues to pay off as it announces the letting of 9,000 sq ft of space in Salford.
Two units at Lyntown Trading Estate in Eccles have been let just months after the estate was acquired by one of Langtree’s fund management clients, and a programme of internal refurbishments began.
“We’re pleased that the market has responded so quickly to our refurbishment work,” said Kathryn Smart, group senior property manager at Langtree.
“Whatever the size of a business, its premises make a statement about it and by bringing our asset management focus to Lyntown Trading Estate we are making it an easier choice for ambitious firms.”
IT asset disposal specialist The Giga Group and fleet repair specialists Total Fleet UK have taken two refurbished units on the estate totalling 8,952 sq ft. Two further units are under offer and the last remaining available unit will be refurbished in line with wider plans for the estate, which include improved signage, landscaping and security fencing.
Laura Wilbourn of Colliers International, the retained agents for the estate, added: “I am delighted to be working alongside Langtree in driving the refurbishment of Lyntown Trading Estate and the initial success of lettings on the estate is extremely positive. We expect high demand for the remaining units.”
